I recently sold my apartment through Murcia Services. You do need to understand selling in Spain isn’t like selling... in the UK e.g. you won’t get updates on how viewings went, how many people have viewed your property and what feedback they gave. Andrea did always responded promptly to my emails asking for updates but you have to do the chasing you don’t get regular feedback, but that’s the way it is in Spain I was told. Once I received an offer the service was very good, Anne was excellent in keeping you informed of progress and as I’d given my solicitor power of attorney it was an easy process. Amaya at LS Solicitors was also excellent and I would highly recommend them as well. I have no other experience of dealing with any other agents but overall Murcia Services did a good job and I would recommend them if you are thinking of selling your property.read more

He was extremely helpful. We then met Dan Perks, who talked us through our wish list and spent hours hunting for the exact property we wanted. He walked us around the resort and explained which way the sun went over the properties. To all at Murcia Services a massive thank you. In September last year, and after some online research, we started our... Spanish property search in earnest at the NEC (A Place in the Sun). That is where we met Dan on the Murcia Services stand. Helpful and friendly, Dan discussed in detail the options for our preferred areas on the Costa Calida. No hard selling or pestering follows ups, just an invitation to get in contact when we had organised our trip out. Out we did go in February with a very good idea of where we wanted to buy - La Torre. We stayed on the resort but also wanted to challenge our online research. We therefore spent the first couple of days looking at other areas on the costa. Strangely heartened by the fact we didn’t see anything that fitted our requirements our search on La Torre started. Dan had previously helped us whittle down a couple of options for each of the property types available at the time of our visit and we viewed them all, and then some more too! They had a large selection. It was really useful and helpful to do this, narrowing down our search as we went. Seeing the quality of properties available and the modification possible actually raised our expectations. We decided that a townhouse was the best fit for us and although there were properties we could have quite happily purchased, we started to look at options for us to make the modifications to. We would also like to recognise Iain who helped us scope out what was possible and the budgets involved. Deciding that this was the way to go, all we had to do was choose which one. “We will think about it over night” was the phrase as we left, itching to offer on one. We were very honest when going round the properties with both feedback and what we wanted. So when Dan phoned us up a couple of hours later saying “You are not going to believe this”, we did. After leaving their office the next customer through the door was enquiring about selling their townhouse, exactly what we wanted. And there the search ended. Using the last few hours of the working week the reservation was made and solicitors instructed. With a little bit of help from fate, we got exactly what we hoped for. Funny how things work out but definitely wouldn’t have done without the team at Murcia Services, Dan and Iain especially. As we said at the time; We came, we stayed, we looked, we bought! They listened very... carefully to what we needed/wanted and organised picking us from the airport and an apartment for us to stay.
